I know I have been gone for quite a while, well I'm back! I had been busy with school(college), work, family and working out. It could be hard to juggle so many things at once but somehow I have to get it all done. As the end of the semester was approaching I had to focus and study a little extra to pass my final examinations, I'm happy to say that the Spring 2010 semester is now behind me and I passed all my classes! Summer 2010 I & II here I come(wish me luck, I will need it)!!
Many days I get frustrated and I want to give up but I don't, I know someday I will have my degree and it will all be worth it. The social gatherings missed, the restless nights, everything will be worth it. I'm reaching to graduate in 2013, hopefully! I work full time so I have to push myself a little extra to NOT come home and relax after a long day of work. I have to come home and hit the textbooks. I'm studying to obtain a Bachelor's Degree-Interdisciplinary Studies with EC-6 Bilingual Generalist Certification. I attend college full time so I take at least 4 classes per semester. My day starts early in the morning, I head to work and work a 9 hour shift. Once done with work I head to the gym, I try to squeeze in 2 hours Mon-Thu. After that I come home and spend some time with my family. My day doesn't end there, I still need to do homework or study. On Fridays I relax, I only work half a day and do absolutely nothing for the rest of the day! You might be asking yourself what do I study for during the week if I don't attend classes during the week?! Well I spent my weekends for the last 16 weeks stuck in school, once this semester was over I told myself no more weekends classes. From now on part of my weekends will be dedicated to homework/studying, the other part to my lovely family. Of course somewhere in the busy days ahead of me I will need to make some time to work out. A few months ago I started working out(AGAIN). I set a long term goal for myself, this goal was to lose 30lbs by the summer. Sadly the summer is here and I have not fully accomplished my goal... but I'm happy with the results I have so far. I have lost 21lbs! Now that's I've lost 21lbs I still don't think I will be completely satisfied with 30lbs so I've added 5 more lbs. I gave myself the month of July to lose 14lbs, I will keep you guys posted on how all that works out.
For now I have one more week off from school and I intend to relax and enjoy it with my husband and family!
