The Digest Diet: Day 8


Sorry that it took me a whole week to update you guys. I have a sick 6-month-old at home and he got me sick. But we are both getting over this bad cold. I unfortunately had to skip Saturday, Sunday and Monday from the diet due to my son’s baptismal preparations. His Baptism was simply adorable! Everything turned out great. Monday night I was finally able to get all the ingredients to continue on to Phase 2 of the diet.

I was debating whether to skip to Day 8 of the diet or start on Day 5 where I had left off? I decided that to get the full benefits of the diet I needed to continue where I left off last Friday. Tuesday I started back up on Day 5 and I continue to see results. I love the snacks and meals & I still replace one of my meals with a shake. So today is Day 8 and I am in Phase 2 of the diet. So far I have lost 7.2lbs. WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I am doing the Happy Dance. It’s Friday and I am down 7.2lbs since last week.

The hubby is hanging for dear life, about to fall off the wagon! He is a very picky eater so it makes it really hard for him to follow this diet. He does not like yogurt, onions, soups, and my list could go on and on. If he likes it he will eat it, so he is thinking of repeating Phase 1 of the diet. Shakes for every meal. I will let you guys know how that turns out!

My goal for the weekend is to get back in the gym. I have been slacking off and I need to train for a half marathon I’m scheduled to run in January. So I MUST GET BACK IN THERE!
