Thursday Turkey Trot Training

Happy Thursday November 1st! This month's fitness challenge is the Houston Turkey Trot benefiting Sheltering Arms Senior Services on Thanksgiving morning. I have paired up with Alba from Independent Mami to train for this run. Our current pace is 11'20min per mile and our goal is to cut that back at least 1min by November 22,2012 .

This is what our training schedule looks like this week.

Monday - Run 5 miles
Tuesday - Run 3 miles
Wednesday - Walk 2 miles (while trick or treating)
Thursday - OFF
Friday - Run 6 miles
Saturday - Run 3 miles
Sunday - OFF

Monday we ran 5.5 miles in 59:49 minutes with an average pace of 11'17 per mile.
Tuesday we ran 3.17 miles in 35:27 minutes with an average pace of 11'10 per mile.
Wednesday we took our kids trick or treating and walked just a little over 2 miles.
Today is our day OFF.
